Front-of-house, studio recording, mixing and mastering — translating a room or a session into a record that moves people.
David Fitzgibbons IV is an audio engineer working across live sound and the studio — from front-of-house and monitors to multi-track recording, mixing, mastering and broadcast. Based between Nashville, Phoenix, Los Angeles and South Bend, he builds the kind of clean, musical, road-tested signal chains that hold up whether the room seats fifty or five thousand.
His ear was shaped under Grammy-winning producer Carlos de la Garza and sharpened at The Blackbird Academy in Nashville. From there he founded Fitzgibbons Audio Recordings and has mixed, recorded and engineered for artists and institutions who care how it sounds.
